Exhibitor Information

Can My Organization Participate as an Exhibitor?

Connections welcomes exhibitors that offer some form of service, product or programs related to persons with disabilities. Previous exhibitors have ranged from medical supplies to recreation/travel to accessible buses.

How Do I Become an Exhibitor?

Contact us to receive an exhibitor application form. These typically are available near the end of January each year and get sent out to our database of organizations around this time. We send notices of confirmation to exhibitors by mid-March.

Does Connections Ever 'Sell-Out' of Exhibitor Spaces?

Yes, we typically have the number of applications exceed the amount of available space and have to create a wait list. Items such as the date an application is received and the diversity of the exhibitors are considered when filling the show.

What are the Set-up and Tear-down Times?

Details on set-up and tear-down times are posted in the exhibitor confirmation packages sent out in mid-March.

What is the Size of the Display Spaces?

Display areas measure a minimum of 2 ½’ deep by 10’ wide and include a 5’ table with 2 chairs. For those that have made special requests, we have done our best to accommodate.

Can we get Electrical Connections?

Be sure to check off the electrical connection box on your application form if you will need access to electrical. There are limited spaces with this access and an additional cost charged by the venue. It is recommended that you bring an extension cord.

What Food Services are Available?

The Living Arts Centre offers a buffet lunch in their 'Live' restaurant and there are also restaurants close by including those in the Square One shopping mall directly across the street. If you would like to have someone watch over your table while you’re out, speak to any of our event staff.

Promotion?

We have promoted the event throughout the community. Please help us spread the word by sharing the flyer with your clients, colleagues or community partners who might benefit by attending.

What if I have Questions During the Event?

We will have a number of staff available if you have any questions or require assistance during the show. Just look for the black shirts or come to the registration table.

Are Support Services Available?

Support Service Attendants: We have support service attendants available to anyone requiring personal assistance. They can be contacted at the “AbleLiving” table or visit event staff at the Registration Table who could direct you to them.

Sign Language Interpreter: A sign language interpreter is on site. Visit us at the Registration Table to connect with the interpreter.
